Late 2018
Early days
At first, Yunite was actually started as a private tool for just a few servers I've personally worked on (most notably, the server of Trymacs), but soon after, in late 2018, a few other servers wanted to adopt it. The most known out of them was "Anonymous Building Addicts", also known as Atlantis Scrims, and today, as G2 Scrims, who gave Yunite a kickstart due to their popularity. Back then, Yunite still supported snipes - does anyone remember them? 😅
2019
The launch
From there, we decided to go public, and Yunite reached 200 servers in just about a week. That was the point in time when we started to see that we hit something big here - and indeed, look where Yunite is today!
It was just a tool to solve the most common problems in your Fortnite communities. We didn't expect it to grow to this size, ever.
2020 – 2021
New partners, new people
I also want to thank our partners who worked with us on different amazing features along the way: OA Manu, FortniteTracker, LandingApp, Fortnite Gamepedia, Fortnite Rankings, fortnite.gg, and eBlitz. And, of course, nothing on here would run without the amazing Yunite support team, led by ᴊʟ, and in the early days by byMintro! Without all of you, Yunite wouldn't be where it is today!
2022
The biggest milestone
On 4th of January, we reached a huge milestone... Yunite is now powering over 100,000 servers!
All of this wouldn't have been possible without the support of all of you - all the admins, hosts, and players using Yunite on a daily basis, providing good games, scrims, practice, and tournaments to everyone. We're proud to be a central part of this growing ecosystem of tools and services that help the Fortnite community to create amazing spaces where we all can play, train, compete and hang out in together.
